MAC taps NIU Business scholar-athletes on gymnastic team

Twelve NIU scholar-athletes on the university’s women’s gymnastic team were named by the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to its Gymnastics Academic All MAC Team.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for their particular sport.

The NIU College of Business students to make the list account for one-third of the NIU designees. The MAC tapped a total of 67 student-athletes. The full roster of NIU students to receive this honor are listed below, along with their GPA and major area of study:
